I made yeast after I got home Fri Oct 27 A lovely day like summer we made kraut I got dinner I called up Grace P Wallace Aulden & Ella went to Wadena to a school play this eve Aulden is in it it is halloween fixin Russell is ready to go to Hilda Klingmans soshal was going with Sam Flanagan he hasent come yet it is 835 pretty late well Russell has gone to bed sat Oct 28 A fine day I gathered husks this afternoon am very tired & picked corn (sctanz?) left Wallace & Lena went to Elgin this eve Russell halled a load of hogs to Elgin for W Flanagan this afternoon
