another gloomy day we ironed baked bread I mended the stockins th Feb 1 A pretty cold day we patched all afternoon I made 2 pumpkin pies Wallace & Ed Gehring was out all day in regard to the creamery Russell has gone over to Freddie Klingmans this eve he & Freddie are going to finish up their book keeping this eve to hand in tomorrow at school Fri Feb 2 A gloomy day no bright sunshine is high wind & stormy this eve & cold I made me a new gingham apron today
