Aulden halled a load of hay to Elgin for C M Klingman it froze ice last night it snowed & blew at times we couldent see see any distance has been a very bad day is very cold this eve Aulden wore his fur coat to town & fur mittens he wasent any to warm wed May 9 pretty cold day cold wind we all went to the play at the church this eve was good had a good crowd took in over 40 dollars Wallace & Lena butchered a hog dident like the looks of its intrals Wallace took them to a vetinary at Elgin he said it had T. B. so he burned it too bad
