Tues sept 4 A pretty warm day we caned 10 qts tomatoes Russell went with Sam Flanagan to Elgin to see the canning factory in running order I slept 2 hours this afternoon wed sept 5 A very warm day Lena washed I always hang the clothes out for her Russell has been sick all day gripp I guess Wallace & Aulden went to Elgin this eve they was at Is shaffers this fornoon traded a black lamb for a white one Ella started to school this morning she wasent able to go Monday she was sick like Russell is now Aulden had it first then the girls now Russell hope he will be better in the morning
