McNeff went this morning the men are busy plowing corn Tues June 28 A nice corn day wind pretty high but warm Wallace & Ella has gone to Fred R this eve to practice Lena washed we ironed some wed June 29 A very warm day we finished ironing Ellen & Mary Flanagan called this eve Wallace went to Elkader with them this eve he was at Elgin after dinner was gone just a hour he went after feede Lena cand 7 qts strawberries & made some strawberry jam th June 30 A hot day I patched Charley took Lena to Elgin this eve Jessie Shaffer called this eve Labanda
