& girls & I went to see Lina this afternoon Jack & Ina Shaffer was here this afternoon I am so sleepy & tired we had to do the boys washing today & I fixed Russells socks (illegible) as it was is real chilly this eve Mon July 4 A cool day had some rain this morning Aulden took Russell to West Union he has gone back to Cedar rapids this afternoon the rest of them went to a sunday school picnic at Charley Midberries brick house I stayed home alone slept a while I dident feel like going today the boys & Ella started to Wadena so Ella could practice with her band couldent get up the Mincreek hill came back that was this morning she had to practice is real cool this eve
