to the evening fair at West Union Charley helped is Shaffer thrash today null suter is here this eve fixing our engine to the lite plant it got out of fix Dr Cryoler was here today castarded one of our colts Charley went to West Union wed Aug 24 A nice day very cool this eve Russell went to Cedar Rapids today expect to go to Caburger the last of next week his school will start the 5th of September I have been lonesome all day he will be gone so long this time 9 months the longest he has been away at one time from home hope he will get along good & like the work he rode to West Union with Wallace this morning he was at the fair all day dident get home till 5 PM Charley went this eve to the night fare Lina isent so well am so sorry
