Fri Dec 30 A bitter cold day I patched some riped up a dress we ironed this eve I am sleepy am going to bed Wallace helped Will Flanagan saw wood today sat Dec 31 A bitter cold day Wallace went to Fayette to a farm bureau meeting was going to have a church supper put it off was so cold sun Jan 1 1928 Another year has past & I am still here wonder where I will be when 1929 will roll around this has been a very cold day we have had 2 days of such cold weather
