Harald strang is here tonite he is sessing was so windy & cold & dark he dident go home he phoned his folks where he was & was going to stay all night Fri jan 20 A bitter cold day the wind has gone down some but is awful cold sat jan 21 A very cold day still & cold no wind I made some quilt blocks today sun jan 22 A pretty good was bright thawed some mon jan 23 A nice day Lena washed Bill wing & Albert Masse came to chop wood for us 2 or 3 days just here for dinner Ella (illegible) & Elizabeth walked to school today
