mon Jan 21 A nice day is a lovely bright moon light evening Aulden went to Hopkinston today Lena washed Sam Ogle shot our Nellie horse she got so she could hardly get around her legs all swells poar old horse Ella is at George Fays to a party this eve & will stay all night Russell took her to school this morning Tues Jan 22 A stormy day rained & snowed the wind is high & cold Ella came home this through all the cold Lena washed the wood work in the kitchen this afternoon I dident feel very good today in back for a number of days
