Mon sept 9 A cold gloomy day is real cool this eve we had some rain last night it rained till around 2 AM john & vera cutters & their son Ros & Clara Mattocks called a while this afternoon Wallace & Lena went to Elgin this afternoon Wallace took Ella to school this morning Tues sept 10 A nice day rather cool Lena washed Wallace went to Wadena this morning Ella rode to school I hulled beans most all day Vern Roberts called today wed sept 11 A nice day we ironed the men made fence 2 Delco light called Aulden & Ella went to Foxwells to league this eve
