Sat Jan 1 1921 Another year has gone & I am still on the land & among the living am thankful am so well hope I will grow stronger I trust we will all keep well in this new year Mary & I was home all afternoon Russell was home for dinner he went to Elgin the rest all went to Rea Mc Danels to a pound soshal Russell has gone to the church this eve to something I don't know what sun Jan 2 this has been a nice day snow gone & mud to contend with Wallace & the boys are at church
