th June 30 A very warm day I washed my husk tick filled the husk in finished tieing my matress my bed is clean & nice called on Eva a while this afternoon Wallace Lena Ella Mary & John all went to Oelwein today I made a Raspberry pudding for dinner that was all the boys ate Fri July 1 A nice day a breeze sun hot John & the boys went to Elgin after 2 oclock of sand Lena washed some I made 2 sun bonnets all but the slats sat July 2 A hot day the men halled 3 loads of gravel from Elgin
