Orientation... Welcome, Coed, to The University of Iowa. We are looking forward to seeing and meeting you this fall on campus. The entire University has been working and planning for your arrival this September. To acquaint you early with University life, the Associated Women Students publishes this Code for Coeds, which is designed for YOU. In anticipating your problems, questions, and apprehensions we have included general information and also some small details that might not have occurred to you. After reading this Code, the place will not be so hectic and the first weeks not so confusing because you're "in the know." This fall you and 2,700 in your freshman class will be more completely introduced to college life by your two Orientation Leaders. Soon, if not already, you will be receiving a letter from them welcoming you and explaining the Orientation program. The activities of Orientation have been designed for your enjoyment and to {Drawing of woman on steps in front of door greeting four other women walking up path.
