PROVIDENCE. R. I. E. F. ALBEE SEPT. 27th 20 We have a very good bill this week, about as good as we had the first week of the season. There is lots of snap and go and only one act was disappointing. CHAS. LOVENBERG. THE PICKFORDS: Acrobatic comedy and juggling act which started the show off in good shape. 10 min. full stage. A. C. ASTOR: Ventroliquist. Nothing very new in his work, but he is clever, has a nice personality and held the spot satisfacorily. 17 min. in one. HARRY AND ANNA SEYMOUR: Miss Syemour assisted by her brother in this soft spot for them, cleaned up in good shape. 15 min. in one. HENRY SANTREY & BAND: A very unusual act that made one of the biggest hits I have ever seen in vaudeville, in Providence. 35 min. full stage. BEATRICE HERFORD: Miss Herford by her very clever work and pleasing personality gave her refined monologue with good results. 13 min. in one. DUGAN & RAYMOND: In what is supposed to be an aviation sketch. I somehow had the impression that they got the same sort of comedy out of their aeroplane that they formerly did from their automobile. The fact is however, that the only use made of the aeroplane is Mr. Dugan's first entrance, and that meant nothing at all, he might just as well have walked in from the wings. The act is not nearly as good as their old one and is not worth over $250. by any stretch of imagination, even in these days of high salaries. Anything over that is money thrown away. 17 min. full stage. LAMBERT & BALL: The usual big hit / 10 min. in one. DANCING MCDONALDS: Good lively act by a pair of little people who held the spot in a most satisfactory manner. 8 min. full stage. CUTS: A. C. ASTOR; Please cut word "Liar" DUGAN & RAYMOND: Miss Raymond cut out the line "I pose in the Nude." DANCING MCDONALDS: Have Miss McDonald wear tights instead of showing bare legs.
