PHILDADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE September 27th 20 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - (16 mins.) Very good. THE VIVIANS - (16 mins.) Did fine in the opening spot. We have played them several times and they repeated very well with their expert shooting. ED. HILL - (12 mins.) A decided novelty, one of the very best cartoon acts we have ever played and something entirely new. The act got over unusually well in this spot and closed to a very good hand. FAY MARBE - (17 mins.) Having played several weeks here last season in "The Velvet Lady" this girl was very well received. She did several numbers and introduce bits of dances in very attractive costumes. Closed to a good hand. GREENLEE & DRAYTON - (10 mins.) Despite the fact that these boys went on in street clothes, owing to the non-arrival of their baggage, they were a real clean-up hit. Songs and dances were a riot of applause and they closed to a tremendous hand. HARRY J. CONLEY - (26 mins.) This act got over in splendid shape, being one of the rural comedy sketches we have played in sometime. The trick scenic finish also scored and they finished strong. LILLIAN SHAW - (23 mins.) Her opening week of the season, after a lay-off of seven weeks and she has never gone any better in this house. She has several new numbers and repeated two of her old ones, both being applause winners, and she was forced to come back and, make a speech. HARRY HOLMAN & CO. - (20 mins.) A new comedy sketch that went over big. It is along the line of his former offering, very well played, full of laughs and with a sentimental bit at the finish that brought good results. A very good comedy sketch. PATRICOLA & MASON - (14 mins.) Held this spot very well, but owing to the fact that they were following three or four big hits, did not quite live up to New York reports. FOUR LAMY BROS. - (6 mins.) A very good casting act with some comedy. Good routine of tricks and gave us a very satisfactory closing number. GENERAL REMARKS - A very fine bill with several big applause hits. Made a great impression with a capacity house at the matinee and ought to do a big week.
