REport Of BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R.I., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 21, 22 and 23. HAZEL MORAN--- The Girl and the Lariats. Twirls a rope around her head also makes rings and dances through same. 6 min. in one. Went poor. LEON STANTON & CO.--- In "Money and Matrimony." Comedy sketch. Relic of the war of '61. California is the scene of the sketch. Special drop. This act went over rather tame. 15 min. full. CAPELL & WALSH--- In a Character Skit. Two girls. Irish and Italian character comedy singing and talking act. This act went over big. 15 min. in one. LARRY HARKINS--- In "His Monarchs of Melody." Four men. All are clever musicians; they use two pianos on stage; also violin, cello, and ukele. Their act consists of music, singing and dancing. 12 min. full; went good. [Signature: A. S. Watson] Scenic. Oct 25th. 1920 Report on the Scenic show Oct 25th. 1920 Bassitt & Bailey. Man & Woman. Balancing act. Do some very good work, especially on the tables and chairs that he builds up as high as the draperies. The act went good this afternoon I think the act is good enough for big time theatres. 9 min in 3. Carroll & Sturgis. Two Women. Violin & Piano. Rather a tame act, did not go very good today finished with hardly enough applause to get one bow. Special drop in 1, 15 min Al White. Singing & Talking Comedian. Most of his comedy was on prohibition, went very good. A good bright act that will make good. 11 min in 1. Rex Comedy Circus. Trick Ponies, Revolving Table & Trick Donkey. The usual comedy circus act. Went very good. 10 min in 3. Show as a whole good, ought to do good business. Reddy
