Scenic Report on the Scenic show Nov 15th, 1920 Jess & Dell, Animated Dolls & Animal Imitators. A pleasing small time act that went fair for an opening number. Special scenery in 3. 8 min Boudini & Bernard. Accordionists. They do a very good act, did not go over as strong as I expected, but it went good. 10 min in 1. Herbert Ashley & Co. Two Men & One woman. Ashley of the old team of Mathews & Asley heads the the company. The comedy is on the suggestive order, and it seems they play it up to pull the act over, as the singing is not of bit time quality. [Illegible; paper loss] suited to an audience such as they have at the Scenic. Special scenery in 3 20 Min Act opened in 1 went to 3 closed in 1. The Rose Revue. One Man & Two Girls. Rather a pleasing dancing & Singing number, did not get any great amount of applause but I am satisfied from the attention of audience it pleased. Opened in One closed in special act in 3 12 min. Reddy Report on the Scenic show Sept 30th 1920 Gene & Myrtle Conroy. Buck, Toe, & Soft Shoe Dancing. A Fairly good small time act. 9 min in 1. An act advertised as Johnny Dove. "A Game of Golf," proved to be a contortion act similar to the old Ferry Frog Act. Good of the kind, Special scenery in 3, 6 min. Hank Brown. Doing the same act he has done since I was old enough to go to shows. got over fair. 17 min in 1. The Maxwell Quintette. Would not call this a good act, even for family time. Did not get over strong this afternoon. Nothing seemed to startle the audience the afternoon everything seemed to be dead both sides of footlights. Do not consider the show strong-- Reddy
