PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S NOVEMBER 8th, 20 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Both very good. THE REYNOLDS - (13 mins.) A dancing act by two women and a man. The biggest applause winner as an opening act played in a long time, in fact it was one of the big applause hits of the show. The boy's eccentric dance is particularly good and the whole act holds up fine from start to finish. TONY - (13 mins.) A girl dressed as a street urchin playing the violin. A very fine musician and, although nearly all her stuff is classical, it was brilliantly played. Closed to a very good hand. MARY MARBLE & COMPANY -(21 mins.) First appearance here since she was with Sam Chip and she has a very fine one-act comedy, well played by herself and company of three. It has plenty of laughslines and a bit of sentiment. It was very well received, from start to finish, and closed strong. BOYCE COMBE - (22 mins.) A very classy single and held down this spot in splendid style. Sings comedy numbers, with piano accompaniment, and all his material is delivered in classy style. Closed to a very good hand. EDUARDO & ELISA CANSINO - (11 mins.) Being well remembered for the hits scored with the Bessie Clayton act, this couple was given a big reception and were a big applause hit. Several numbers well executed and beautifully dressed. A whirlwind number took them off to rousing applause and they took several bows. THE LE GROHS - (9 mins.) A real sensational hit, putting a dead stop to the show right in the middle of the bill. Their contortion work is really wonderful and they show their material in the best possible way. EDDIE LEONARD & COMPANY - (26 mins.) He started off with a great reception and held the house all the way through his act, taking his usual half dozen bows at the finish and singing several of his old songs in addition to the new ones. It is the best act Leonard has ever given us and it went over in great shape. LANE & MORAN - (17 mins.) In the next to closing spot, following a big bill of hits, these boys put over a riot of laughs, closing very strong. Material is mostly nut comedy, handled splendidly and it got steady laughs all through the act. ROY HARRAH - (5 mins.) A very good skating act, with a variety of stuff and went over fine in the closing spot. GENERAL REMARKS - This is our Anniversary Week, the Eighteenth, and we have seldom had a show that scored so many hits, beginning with the opening act and running right through to the last. A capacity audience was in front and the entire bill was a big hurrah.
