PROVIDENCE. R. I. E. F. ALBEE Nov. 29th, 1920 We have as a whole a bill that plays very well indeed, some spots are weak, but in the aggregate the audience was satisfied. CHAS. LOVENBERG. SAMSTED & MARION: Strong man act presented in an unusual sort of manner, somewhat in the form of a sketch with a little singing interspersed. Nice clean cut act that gave evident satisfaction. 14 min. full stage. McLOUD & NORMAN: Two young men playing banjo and violin, mostly jazz and who receive some applause, however, I am afraid that the violinist is going to makes it hard for Mr. Fradkin who is coming here next week. Mc.LELLAN & CARSON: A very good comedy talking act with a little skating interspersed. A real hit. 16 min. full stage. THREE DENNIS SISTERS: Three fairly attractive young women who while they have no particularly wonderful voices, nevertheless blend in harmonies so well that it makes a pleasing number. Their refinement adds somewhat to the value of their act. 15 min. in one. GRACE HUFF AND COMPANY: An excellent comedy sketch very well played. The act may be called a decided hit. 20 min. full stage. HANDERS & MELLISS: Two men doing a nut comedy turn introducing some eccentric dancing. Big laughing hit. 14 min. in one. MARMEIN SISTERS & DAVID SCHOOLER: A very attractive offering of dancing by the young women and piano playing by the man. Pleased most decidedly. 26 min. full stage. TOM PATRICOLA ASSISTED BY MISS IRENE DELROY: Miss Dleroy is evidently new in the act and while very good to look at does not lend much weight to the offering, nevertheless Patricola scored so strongly himself that the act may be credited to be a big hit. 20 min. in one. REX COMEDY CIRCUS: Ponies, cats, dogs and mule in a lively offering that made a satisfactory closing number. 10 min. full stage.
