PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S DECEMBER 13th 20 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Very good. BERK & SAWN - (16 mins.) A very good dancing act by a boy and girl, nicely dressed and staged. The boy is a very clever stepper and the act made a very good opener. Could go down further on the bill with credit. SHELDON & DAILEY - (17 mins.) A very good "sister" team. Have some very good songs and put them over in good shape. Closed to a very good hand. KOKIN & GALETTI - (14 mins.) This is a novelty that did very well in this spot on the comedy stuff with the monkeys. The rest of it did just about fair. TRIXIE FRIGANZA - (19 mins.) Although suffering severly from a heavy cold Miss Friganza did very well and got a lot of laughs with her talk and songs. She has some new numbers for an opening and closed to a very good hand. FLORENCE ROBERTS & FREDRIK VOGDING - (20 mins.) The names of the principals in this act no doubt called for the attention that was given the sketch, but the playlet is undoubtedly a very dry comedy and got over with only light returns in the way of applause. It is well played, but talky and put a big drag into our show. It was, however, given respectful attention and closed to a hight hand. LEO CARRILLO - (24 mins.) It is six years since we played this artist but he was given a very warm welcome and put over an unmistakable applause hit. His stories, while not new, got plenty of laughs and he finished very strong with a patriotic recitation. MR. & MRS. JIMMIE BARRY - (21 mins.) We have played this sketch a couple of times and it repeated very well for us this time, getting plenty of laughs and closing to a good hand. HARRY & EMMA SHARROCK -(16 mins) This act was just as big a laughing hit as ever and finished to strong applause. Held the position fine. JOHANNES JOSEFFSON - (4 mins.) A novelty and a very good closing number for this show. It is fast and showy and a very good act of its kind. GENERAL REMARKS - This is one of the very best "name" shows we have had in this house in a long while and gives us a very strong drawing bill for the approach of the holiday season.
