PROVIDENCE.R.I. E. F. ALBEE DEC. 13th, 1920 We have quite a good show this week. There is nothing that could be critizised very severely, although some of the acts were a little disappointing to me. CHAS. LOVENBERG. ANDERSON & YVEL: Man and woman in a skating act of a sensational nature, which made a terrific hit at the beginning of the show. 6 min. full stage. FARREL - TAYLOR & COMPANY: Rather an old fashioned act, but somehow or other seemed to please fairly well. It certainly did no harm in this spot. Two men in black face and two women, one playing the harp and the other the trombone. Open 3 min. in one, then to full stage and fairly long finish in one. 24 min. all told. NEVINS & GORDON: Man and woman in a dainty little skit with singing and dancing that did very well. 14 min. full stage, can close in one. FAY MARBE: With man at piano. Miss Marbe introduced her songs and dances with very good results. 16 min. in one. PAUL DECKER & COMPANY: In " - And Son". This is as satisfactory a sketch as we have had in a long time. The laughs were many and hearty. The sketch is well played generally. 25 min. full stage. BABCOCK & DOLLY: I don't care a lot for this act, although it didn't go badly with the audience. It seems to have a rather small time atmosphere about it. They were not a success next to the closing position, but they did better here. 15 min. in one. CANSINOS, THE: Unquestionably the very best of Spanish dancers, who went very big indeed. 12 min. full stage. HENDRICKS & STONE: Two very clever men, one straight and the other comedy drunk. Present a lot of good material in dialogue and use their voices vocally to excellent advantage. An exceedingly big hit. 20 min. in one. Mme. BRADNA & COMPANY: With three horses, several dogs and pigeons. A very pretty act which held the audience in good style. 13 min. full stage. CUTS: FARRELL-TAYLOR COMPANY: Please cut "What the Hell." NEVINS & GORDON: Please eliminate thumbing of nose. PAUL DECKER & COMPANY: Cut word "Hell" HENDRICKS & STONE: Cut "Who the Hell", also allusions to local saloons. BABCOCK & DOLLY: Please eliminate the word "My God."
