PROVIDENCE. R. I. E. F. ALBEE JAN. 10th, 1921 A very good bill indeed. Practically everything made good and most things made decided hits. Chas. Lovenberg. THE THREE VICTORS: In "Smiles" - This is an acrobatic act with some talking supposed to be comedy. The comedy is not very good, but it got over alright as a whole and was satisfactory in this position. 10 min. full stage. SULLY & MACK: About the best combination of Italian and straight man we have had. Gave the show quite an impetus at this point. 18 min. in one. MARION WEEKS & HENRY BARRON: Coloratura soprano and tenor. Personally I am not so crazy about the singing in this act, I don't believe Miss Weeks is singing as well as she used to. The production is very pretty, however, and the whole thing has an atmosphere of class and the singing seemed to please the audience. 16 min. full stage, can close in one. BEN BERNIE: Mr. Bernie comes with a lot of new material and made a decided hit. 16 min. in one. ZOMAH: Mind Reader - The most mystifying act of this kind I ever saw and I have been looking at them for more than forty years. Without any apparent cue or code, Zomah does all the describing, done by other people doing this work whose code is most apparent. Very satisfactory act. 22 min. full stage. LYDELL & MACEY: Well known act which went as well as usual. 18 min. in one. JOS. HOWARD REVUE: A very good act beautifully mounted and went big all through, and the finish was a riot. 25 min. full stage. BENDER & HERR: While the edge was taken off of this act by the opening act doing some similar work, nevertheless these boys held them very well and got plenty of applause. 7 min. in one. CUTS: LYDELL & MACEY:- cut out "Hell" - SULLY & MACK:- Please cut the joke about being a cripple. BEN BERNIE:- Please omit stories about the fireman whistling when chap passes the fire station.
