PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S FEBRUARY 7th 1 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Pictures interesting. "Topics" good laughs. MAC RAE & CLEGG - (8 mins.) Did very well in the opening spot. Usual routine of cycling tricks with some comedy. RUSSIAN CATHEDRAL SINGERS - (13 mins.) These men have good voices, sing fine harmony and were a big size applause hit, doing equally as well with English as their native songs. "ALEXANDRIA" - (12 mins.) Aside from holding the comedy a little too long this act brought good results. He plays the Xylophone very well when he gets started and closed to a good hand. FRED LINDSAY - (15 mins.) An excellent novelty that scored big. He gives avery spectacular exhibition with long whips. The act contains several thrills, some good comedy and went over big. PRESSLER & KLAISS - (15 mins.) A big laughing and applause hit. The comedian kept the house in a roar of laughter with his comedy at the piano and the girl puts over her songs with plenty of "pep". A first class comedy act that ought to put "pep" in any bill. PRINCESS RADJAH - (11 mins.) This act repeated very well. She is doing the same dances used last season and went over strong. JOHN HYMER & CO. in "Tom Walker In Dixie" - (37 mins.) This act was done here two or three years ago and it was a big applause winner. Did the same this time, getting plenty of laughs and closing to a big hand. SYLVIA CLARK - (15 mins.) In the next to closing spot, following a very good comedy show, she held this spot in great shape. Sang only one new comedy song, but it was a very good number and brought her big returns. Closed very strong. FOUR READINGS - (9 mins.) One of the very best acts of its kind that we play and always a sure-fire applause winner. Made avery good closing act for this bill. GENERAL REMARKS - Another first-rate comedy bill with a good novelty and a spectacular dance. Plenty of laughs distributed throughout the whole bill and the show ran smoothly from start to finish. CUTS John B. Hymer & Co. - Eliminate use of words "Hell" and "cock-eyed" also remarks about "animals punctuating open books."
