One dressed or made up as a woman. Takes wig off at end of act. Went very weak. 5 min. full. WILLIE MAHONEY--- "Why Be Serious"--Get's off a lot of nonsensical talk and foolish actions which did not seem to take with the audience--also sing couple of songs--Result a very light hand at finish and very few laughs thro act. 17 min. in one. MASON & COLE--- In "Just Foa a Kiss"--Man and woman. Very neat couple. Singing, talking and dancing. Dancing very neat; songs catchy. This act went over very good--laughs plenty and a good hand at finish. 12 min. special drop. MABEL WHITMAN & CO.--- Mabel Whitman and Dixie Boys. Mile a Minute in a Jamboree of Jazz. They may bee all right on the Jazz, but as far as singing goes they are rotten. Mable W. does nothing but yell around the stage. She can neither dance or sing. This act went very poor. 12 min.; full.
