REPORT OF BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R.I., Thursday, Friday and Saturday, February 10, 11 and 12. NESTOR & VINCENT--- Booked as offering A Unique Novelty. Man and woman. Juggling and balancing different articles. Not a hand or a laugh thro their act until the finish--then so weak that you would think they were performing in a cemetery. 6 min full. CHALLIS & LAMBERT--- In "There You Are"--Man and woman. Piano, singing and talking act; also, play the clarinet. Woman dressed very neat. This act went about the same as the above. 15 min. in one. BILLY CONNERY--- "The Cheer Up Boy"--Tells Irish stories of the late war, some singing and sings a song in French. Billy surely took the slump out of the audience, for he has a way of his own of putting things over that took great with the people for them gave him plenty of laughs and also hands thro his act--and at the finish called him out four times. 15 min. in one. THE LOVE BUGS--- Two men and two women. This act carry an elaborate special setting. Consists of comedy, singing and dancing. On the musical comedy order. Recived plenty of laughs thro act and a fair hand at finish. 25 min. full stage. [Signature: A. S. Watson] Scenic Report on the Scenic show Feb 7th. 1921 Neator & Vincent. Comedy Juggling. A good snappy act, went good. 8 min in 3. C.D.F. Billy Conroy. Singing, Recitation & Stories. A fair small time act. 15 min in 1. The Love Bugs. Singing & Talking act with Four People. This act did not get over very good to day, it seemed to drag, and did not hold the audience. Special scenery in 4. 25 min in 4. Challis & Lambert. Piano & Singing. This act was late in getting in, and closed the show. Therefor it did not go very well. It did not impress me as being strong. Show not as good as the last half of last week. Reddy
