PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S APRIL 18th, 1 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Pictures very good. "Topics" fair. CLINTON SISTERS - (13 mins.) A novelty dancing turn that did fairly well in the opening spot. They use a series of cartoon moving pictures during changes. The girls are fairly good dancers. THE LEIGHTONS - (13 mins.) They did very well with comedy songs, following a bit of comedy talk, which opened their act. Their songs are their best asset and won them a good hand. TAMEO KAJIYAMA - (26 mins.) His handwriting act is just as big a novelty as it ever was and was accorded a very big hand. He is attempting a little too much comedy which robs the act of some of its value. With this eliminated or toned down with act would be improved. As it was it went over big. MARGUERITA PADULA - (15 mins.) She did very well, although her material does not seem to be as good as it was the last time she was here. She did some clever whistling with her songs and piano playing and closed to a very good hand. ONA MUNSON - (20 mins.) A revue of a different sort from what we have been getting and it was very well received. The dancing is especially good and the singing of the boys builds the act up into a very clever number. It is nicely staged and dressed and got over very well. TIGHE & LEEDON - (16 mins.) The "nut" comedy of this couple got a lot of laughs. The girl is a good foil for the comedy of her partner and the act scored a laughing hit. It is purely a "nut" turn from start to finish. DOROTHY JARDON - (24 mins.) Following a very warm welcome given her she scored a solid hit. Her material, of course, appeals to the better class of audience and they were very responsive. Miss Jardon was in wonderful voice and surely is a vaudeville act of real class. VAL & ERNIE STANTON - (16 mins.) Undoubtedly one of the best comedy talking acts in vaudeville and in the next to closing spot they were a great hit. Their material is different from others and handled to the finishing point. LUCAS & INEZ - (8 mins.) A very pretty novelty act by a man and woman that gives a splendid closing number for this bill. GENERAL REMARKS - This bill runs a little more to class than any we have played in sometime and it is a thoroughly satisfactory show. A couple of good comedy numbers, well placed, injects laughs into it and gives it a very good average from start to finish. CUTS TIGHE & LEEDON - "When I start loving I want something to work on. MARGUERITA PADULA - Do not direct one of your songs to the occupant of any certain seat.
