PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S May 30th, 1 PATHE NEWS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Pictures good. "Topics" very good, particularly funny. "DOOLEY" IOLEEN - (7 mins.) A very nice opener, starting with her songs and finishing with some very clever work on the wire. Did very well. ROLLS & ROYCE - (13 mins.) A real applause hit from start to finish and it is unquestionably the best two act of its kind we have played in a long while, if ever. Both boy and girl are remarkable steppers and they have a variety of steps that is sure-fire. MALLIA BART & COMPANY - (9 mins.) They are using more comedy for the opening than they did when we played this act several years ago and got more laughs. Acrobatic stuff about the same. Very well liked and closed to a good hand. SULLY & MACK - (19 mins.) Two men in a comedy talking and singing turn. Material is good, well handled, and scored nicely. BRONSON & BALDWIN - (22 mins.) A better act and a bigger hit than when we played it last season. Kept the house laughing from start to finish and scored heavily at the finish. VINIE DALY - (17 mins.) Repeated very well with her songs and dances and closed to a good hand. FRANCIS BUSHMAN & BEVERLY BAYNE - (30 mins.) Greeted by a capacity house their sketch was warmly received and it is a very good comedy to introduce these film stars in vaudeville. Sketch is well done and at the finish they took several bows and both principals made speeches that brought them additional applause. BROWN & O'DONNELL - (23 mins.) These boys show a lot of improvement over last year and have one of the best "nut" comedy acts we have seen in a long time. It had our audience in a roar of laughter and put over one of the big applause hits of the show. THREE BELMONTS -(7 mins.) A nice showy juggling act that put a snappy finish to this bill. GENERAL REMARKS - A corking holiday week bill and a big applause hit all the way through. Bushman & Bayne are a great draw and this is an ideal show around them. CUTS Bronson & Baldwin - Omit work "Dirty" in line
