PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S June 20th 1. "PATHE NEWS" & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Very good. MABEL FONDA & COMPANY -(7 mins.) Did very well in the opening spot with club juggling. Good routine of tricks well handled. FRANK & MILT BRITTON - (11 mins.) A first rate musical act, the xylophone and brass numbers being particularly well done. Closed very strong. NATI BILBAINITA - (17 mins.) The dancing is quite different from any other Spanish danders we have played and it is picturesque and was all well received. MULLER & STANLEY - (22 mins.) After starting a big slowly they picked up and got a lot of laughs with their comedy talk. Finished strong. VERNON STILES - (13 mins.) A big applause hit. He was in splendid voice, has an excellent program of numbers, finishing with a popular ballad, and was forced to sing an extra number as an enchore. KITTY GORDON - (27 mins.) Got over very well. The work of her dancer and a soloist bringing especially big results, while Miss Gordon rather amazed them with her wonderful clothes. JACK WILSON - (30 mins.) His first appearance here in several years and he was a comedy hit. His burlesque work with Miss Gordon brought extra laughs and the act closed big. LA DORA & BECKMAN - (12 mins.) A very good aerial act by a man and woman. The latter does very showy tricks on a rope, giving the act a strong finish. Closed to a big hand. GENERAL REMARKS - With a name feature and a well balanced bill surrounding it this show got off to a fine start and ought to play to some very good business. CUTS JACK WILSON - Eliminate "Devil"; "You need holy water"; Do not mention name of any local hotel. Eliminate reference to "Indian guide" and do not thumb nose. Change the line "A joint I never was in" to read "I never investigated."
