PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S JUNE 27th 1 PATHE & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Pictures good. "Topics" fair. LIBBY & SPARROW - (15 mins.) A very good dancing act by a boy and girl, well dressed and staged. Excellent dancers and plenty of variety to their work. Did very well in the opening spot and could hold a better position. PALO & PALLET - (17 mins.) A two man musical act and did very well. Play a number of musical instruments with popular music. Work in clown make-up. Closed to a very good hand. MABEL BURKE - (16 mins.) These girls have a classy singing turn. Excellent voices and a good routine of songs. Were very well received. WYLIE & HARTMAN - (16 mins.) Got plenty of laughs on their comedy, which the woman carried all through the act. The man has an excellent voice. Did very well with a couple of numbers. finished to a good hand. RICHARD KEAN & CO. - (16 mins.) This act is along the lines of that done by Thomas Shea and very well acted. He did three bits from famous plays and was warmly received on each. Closed very strong. FISHER & GILMORE - (18 mins.) Comedy singing turn by a man and woman. Have a good line of material which they handle in good shape and did very nicely with it. FOUR MARX BROS. - (53 mins.) Even with the very hot weather against them this act was a riot of laughs from start to finish and it is much better than their old act which we played sometime ago. Closed very strong. PAUL-LEVAN & MILLER - (5 mins.) A very lively rough and tumble acrobatic act by three men that did very well in this position. AESOP'S FABLES - (8 mins.) The first showing of these cartoons held a majority of our audience seated despite a long show and exceedingly hot weather. The cartoons proved very interesting, contain good humor and ought to be a good feature for our bills. GENERAL REMARKS - A splendid bill and with any kind of a break in the weather ought to do big. As it was the entire show went fine. CUTS MARX BROTHERS - Reference to "Little Brown Bear."
