Boston Keith's July 18, 1921 Aesop's Fables: This is the first time we have run these animated cartoons. Seemed to hold interest. Alfred Farrell & Co. 9 min in 2 spec. [Rag?] pictures, tame and worn out. Stanley & Birnes: 11 min in 1 spec. Good dancers and were a hit in this spot. Edward Ormsby & Co. 19 min in 2 spec. These girls have nice voices, but should cut their program and inject some pep into their work. Went over pretty well. Frank Gaby: 19 min in 1 Gives a few impressions for his opening and then his usual ventriloquial stunt. Went over very good indeed. Dorothea Sadlier with William Gaston & Co. 14 min full stage This sketch, a satire on future man, went fairly well. Miller & Mack: 11 min in 1 Got some good laughs and closed to a fair hand. Fanchon & Marco Stars of "Sunkist": 45 min in 1 and full stage spec. This act contains the customary disappointment that goes with most girl acts of this kind and does not come up to expectations. Went only fair. Pathe News Topics: Fair. CUTS: Alfred Farrell & Co. Please have the young lady talk louder. Frank Gaby: Please eliminate "What the hell" Miller & Mack: Please eliminate "You dirty bum". Fanchon & Marco: Please have Messrs Chain and Barclay omit mention of Indian Guide or other reference to Stillman Case. Also eliminate their "Walk home" gag, and line "Think I'm a cripple', as we have found the use of the word "cripple" offends many of the audience. Please have all girls wear fleshings.
