Philadelphia B. F. Keith's July 25 1 PATHE WEEKLY & TOPICS OF THE DAY-- Pictures just fair. Topics good. GOLD & EDWARDS. 9 min. Two men, dancing and roller-skating. Work in evening clothes. Have some good stepping and did very week as an opener. LEXEY & O'CONNOR- 11 min. They have changed their old offering very little since last seen. Closed to a fair hand. ADELAIDE BELL-- 11 min. A classy turn with an exceptionally good dancer. Sam Gold at the piano adds to the act which scored solidly, each of Miss Bell's dances being warmly received. OLIVE BRISCOE & AL RAUH.- 22 min. New act since last seen here. Have a good routine of comedy talk and songs, nicely handled. Act moves a bit slow but received a fair amount of laughs and finished to a good hand. DOROTHEA SADLIER with Wm. Gaston & Co. 14 min. A very good travesty on the future with the eternal triangle theme given a very funny twist. All three principals are capital in their roles and it gained many solid laughs, closing strong. JANET ADAIR. 14 min. Always does very well here and was the real hit of the show this time. Has some clever songs and, as usual, makes every one of them score. Closed very big. FRANK VAN HOVEN. 15 min. About eleven years since he played here last and his old act, freshened up was all new to our audience. He got them started very quickly and left them in a roar with his comedy and magic. JACK NORWORTH. 29 min. He did better with his present material than he did the last time he played for us. His songs are better and he gets more out of his chatter. With the assistance of Miss Adair he gave his act a corking good finish, using about the same stuff he had on his last visit. FIVE AVALONS.- 8 min. A very good wire act, the work of the youngsters being especially interesting and the act got over nicely in the closing position. AESOP'S FABLES- 7 min. The best of the series so far and got plenty of laughs from those who remained after the regular vaudeville bill. GENERAL REMARKS-- This show had read hot weather against it, but played satisfactorily although a little slow. should improve when speed is caught up as there are several good comedy hits in the bill. -o-
