PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S August 15th, 1 PATHE WEEKLY & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - Both very good. ALICE DE GARMO (9 mins.) Made a very good opener with a fairly good routine of trapeze tricks with one or two feature stunts. MCFARLANE & PALACE - (11 mins.) These boys did very well with their straight singing. Good voices and excellent harmony. SULLY & HOUGHTON - (24 mins.) Their new act is a snappy vehicle with some very good comedy songs and dances, all of which are well done. They closed very strong and have a good enchore bit. COUNT PERRONE & MISS TRIX OLIVER - (12 mins.) A classy singing turn and it got over in good shope. Their numbers are all high class and well done. Closed to a very good hand. PAUL DECKER & COMPANY - (22 mins.) in "I Heard-!!!." A new one-act comedy and fully up to his previous vaudeville sketches. It is a fast action playlet with gossip as its theme and very well played. Got a lot of laughs all the way through and closed strong. MARTHA PRYOR - (18 mins.) Despite the fact that she was suffering from a heavy cold she sang four songs and was a big applause hit. The audience wanted more but she begged off to save her voice. THE MASTERSINGERS - (22 mins.) After an absence of three years they were given a wonderful reception. They sang a program of popular ballads and ensembles and scored a big applause hit. KRAMER & BOYLE - (21 mins.) This act kept our house in a roar of laughter and gave the bill a very good next to closing number. Closed very strong. DANCE FANTASIES - (13 mins.) A very good dancing act by a man and woman. They have an excellent variety of dances and some new ideas well handled. Made a very good closing number for this show. AESOP'S FABLES - (5 mins.) One of the best of the series we have had. GENERAL REMARKS - With a good snappy show around the Mastersingers, who have not been here for three years, we have a bill that seemed to please everyone in the capacity house at the first performance. CUTS Kramer & Boyle - Eliminate "You're not going to ruin my reputation" after saying "We are both men."
