Providence, R. I. E. F. Albee September 5th 1921 The bill as a whole is a pretty good one, probably better than one should expect for what it costs these days. It will no doubt get us just as much money for a warm week as if I had paid $1000 more and it gave evident satisfaction at the performances Monday. Charles Lovenberg PIERCE & GOFF--Two young women who play cornet and xylophone fairly well, who make a neat appearance and altogether do an act which is satisfactory for an early spot. Open in two, close in one. 11 minutes. KLUTING'S ANIMALS--This act is a total disappointment. It by no means compares with the act this man gave us a few years ago. The animals do not seem to know what to do. He drags them through their performances and in its entirity it is most unsatisfactory. 12 minutes. Full Stage. HELEN MORATI--Young woman soprano vocalist. Miss Morati has a powerful voice and of a kind that seems to please vaudeville audiences. She got considerable applause. 11 minutes in one. CLAUDE AND FANNIE USHER--In their last season sketch "The Bide-A-Wee-Home". Miss Usher's work is always pleasing to me and she reaches the audience. The act is too well known to make general comment. Suffice to say that it went very well although a little too long. 29 minutes. Full Stage. RULE & O'BRIEN--Two men singing with one of them at the piano. Their enunciation is very clear and they get the songs over in great style. Went very well indeed. 14 minutes in one. BERT & BETTY WHEELER--This comedy act was pretty near the hit of the show. 25 minutes in one. FORD, SHEEAN AND FORD--Songs and dances. An attractive act that seemed to please. 18 minutes full stage. SOLLY WARD & CO--In sketch "Babies". Mr. Ward is a very fine comedian, knows how to make every point and make them. He has a good sketch and his support is good. Thoroughly satisfactory in every way. 21 minutes. Open in one close full stage. DARE BROS--Hand balancing. Fairly good act which closed the show in good style. 7 minutes in one.
