PROVIDENCE E. F. ALBEE October 17, 1 2 The show played very well indeed. There is no reason why, as far as what we are offering is concerned, we should not do business. Charles Lovenberg. SHERWIN KELLY - A young lady who does a little singing, some rather clever dancing and some good bicycle riding. Nice little act to open the show. 9 minutes full stage. VINCENT O'DONNELL - Well known boy vocalist who, while his voice for ballads is not up to what it used to be is making good, however, more strongly with comic songs. In that way, I think, gives us a better act than I expected. He made a decided hit. 11 minutes in one. THE ROYAL GASCOIGNES - The act is really done by one man. The lady is simply handing him articles but he is a clever juggler and has a good line of talk. He made quite a hit. 18 minutes opening full stage long close in one. BURT & ROSEDALE - This was pretty near the surprise of the show. The act is an exceptionally good one. The fellow is an excellent comedian. The woman one of the best foils I have seen in a good while. The act went big all through and very strong at the finish. 16 minutes full stage. KIRBY, QUINN & ANGER - Two men and a girl, talking, singing and dancing act with some comedy falls. The people have ability enough, but somehow, the act seems to be thrown together and looks rather cheap and home made. They need to be put in the hands of a good director. The act will not offend in any way but is not up to its full value. 18 minutes in one. HARRY AND ANNA SEYMOUR - These people, while they went very well indeed, did not score as strongly as on their previous visit. The reason, I believe, being that Miss Seymour has taken out considerable of her material to use in the talk later with Henry Santry and some of the stuff that has been replaced is not particularly funny. They went very well however, and there is no serious complaint. 15 minutes in one. HENRY SANTREY AND COMPANY - Well known act that scored its usual big hit. 33 minutes full stage. SANTRY-SEYMOUR TALKING ACT - Lot of jokes while old got plenty of laughs. 15 minutes in one. KRENNELL TRIO - Two men and a woman in an acrobatic and hand balancing act with a little comedy interspersed. Answered satisfactorily to close but would have been better opening the show. 9 minutes full stage.
