PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S NOVEMBER 21st, 1 AESOP'S FABLES & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - ( 12 mins.) CHONG & ROSE MOEY - (8 mins.) A clever novelty. Songs and dances nicely done. Pretty staging. Good opener. JACK LA VIER - 15 min. He has made a very good comedy number out of an aerial act, getting lots of laughs and doing some showy tricks. Went very well. JESSIE BROWN & EFFIE WESTON- 17 min. Their new offering is better than the one they did last season and brought excellent results. Have a good variety of dancing, attractively dressed and the piano numbers by Dave Dryer helps considerably. Closed to an excellent hand. KENNEY & HOLLIS - 15 min. One of the old style of "hokum" acts and a corking good comedy number. Was nicely placed and gave us a big laughing hit that was needed in this spot. Closed big. CLAUD & FANNIE USHER- 30 min. Played this sketch here last season and it proved a good repeater. One of the best of the Usher playlets. MISS PATRICOLA-14 min.- One of the most popular singles we play. She has several new songs and with her violin selections she was the big applause winner of the bill. ARMAN KALIZ & CO. "Temptation"- This is a flash act, but the company supporting Mr. Kaliz is not as good as when we played the act last season and the whole act was much slower. It was a hit for us last season, but did not prove a good repeater. BINS & GRILL- 6 min. A very good hand-balancing act by two men who were very well received in the closing spot. They work in business suits but their work is clean cut and they have a fine routine of tricks. PATHE WEEKLY- Good average of pictures with the Philadelphia visit of General Foch featured. GENERAL REMARKS- Our headliner did not hold up very well and put a damper on the show, but the surrounding acts were satisfactory.
