10 Rio Brothers, 2 shows, 9 min. full stage -- Trio of clever flying performers and athletes, one of the prettiest "sight" acts in the business. went big. Irving Jones, 2 shows, 14 min. in 1 -- One of the best "real coon" vocalists int he business, possibly stronger card than Ernest Hogan. scored a hit. Hal Davis and company, 2 shows, 22 min. full stage -- Presenting for the first time her the comedy melodrama "Pals", which has already been described by the other houses. The first portion of it, which is quite humorous, was greeted with laughter all through, and the sensational fight at the finish provoked more enthusiasm than anything that has ever been done her. Eight curtain calls were insisted on. Biograph, 3 shows, 22 min. in 1 -- Showing one of the best lists of motion pictures we have had for some time, the principal film being "The Escaped Lunatic", which called for roars of laughter all through. Pryor Brothers, 3 shows, 12 min. open in 3, close in 1 -- Singers, dancers and instrumentalists. Nice, neat appearing team, who do really creditable work and could easily stand for a better place on the bill. Comments:- The audience was a large one, both balconies being shut off early in the day, but it was not a specially enthusiastic one. The show dragged at intervals, although for no good reason, every act being a good one. There is no question but that we will continue the big business we have been doing all through Lent. Addenda to Report on Boston Show, week of Mar. 21, 1904: Jessie Couthoui, not satisfied with her time in the evening bill, refused to go on, which is a direct benefit to the program. Have substituted Dudley Prescott in the two supper shows, to get necessary time. Show went tremendously in the evening. Were obliged to shot off sale afternoon and evening.
