CRITICISM, KEITH's BIJOU, MARCH 21st. 1904. STEREOPTICON. Usual collection of views. 10 minutes. ARMINTA. Aerial Gymnast. Garden in 4, [6?] minutes. Neat appearing woman, doing some clever work, which would be immensely improved by the introduction of dash in to the work. However, it is a very satisfactory opening act and closed to fair applause. 3 shows. INGRAM & NEALE. Drop in one, 14 minutes. A local boy and girl about 15 or 16, singing and dancing, opening in Chinese costumes, then to straight. A cute girl, possessor of a good and highly pleasing voice. They dance well, showing dancing school trainingand were able to close to good applause. 3 shows. GOLDING, JUGGLER. Garden 3, 13 minutes. A neat appearing local boy attempting the juggling of some of the best we have had here. Was somewhat nervous this afternoon and fell down two or three tricks. His general work however, is lively, pleasing and acceptable, enabling him to close to good applause. 3 shows. May Evans, Drop in one, 9 minutes. A whistling soloist and imitator, well known by many trips over the Circuit. Her work has not lost what value it previously had. In fact I may say she seems better able to amuse and please her audience and closed to decent applause. 3 shows. TANNER & GILBERT. Landscape, Garden in 4 Cottage on side. 14 minutes. The only act we have repeated since our re-entrance into vaudeville, last September. Both possess good vaudeville voices and Tanner's knockabout dancing at the close enabled them to finish to good applause. 3 shows. EDDIE MACK. Drop in one. 11 minutes. A neat dancer, known over the circuit, who has added a few neat touches to his act since his last appearance here. He thoroughly amused and pleased his audience to-day. Closed to very good applaus and received a recall. Good for this position and in a bad show could be put on later. 3 shows. DELMAR TRIO. Garden in 4. 13 minutes. Three men, two straight, one clown makeup. Barrel jumpers seem to please our audiences. The comedian does not succeed in getting any comedy out of his work. Their work is satisfactory in this difficult position. At the close they introduce a dog and closed to quite fair applause. 3 shows. McIntyre & Rice. Drop inone/ 20 minutes. A nonsensical conglomeration of ideas and talk, inwhich McIntyre posing as an Irish comedian shows that he is not one. Their work is able to arouse considerable laughter, but in my opinion they are overpaid and could only be rated as good in the 3 aday section. Closed only to light applause. 2 shows. LAVINE CAMERON TRIOUX. Garden in 4. 10 minutes. Clever girl and two men. In this hard position they got by nicely. The beat work is undoubtedly done by the clever appearing and good looking girl. Their acrobatic work is of the ordinary variety, but they closed to good applause. 2 shows.
