New York Show--Week of August 8, 1904. GYH THREE ST. FELIX SISTERS.-- These are the original St. Felix girls who were so long features of Tony Pastor's traveling shows. They have been in foreign countries for several years and this is their first attempt in vaudeville in a long time. They are very small, and two of them makeup as boys and the other one as an old Irish woman. While their voices are not especially good, they have a way of singing which is peculiar to themselves and they do a little dancing at the finish. I think that after their newness wears off and they get back into vaudeville harness again it will be a good act. At all events, I know there are enough of old time variety theatre patrons in town who will come to see them this week to more than pay their salary. They went all right this afternoon and I think will go a good deal stronger to night. 16 minutes in one. GNH 2 CARLETON MACY, supported by EDNA MAY HALL in a charming little comedy sketch entitled "A Timely Awakening." It is as pleasing an act as we have had in many a time, full of comedy and good action. 24 minutes, full stage. GYH 2 BEATRICE MORELAND.--In monologue. I think Miss Moreland did better than on her previous visit. She has considerable new material and a new song that went very good, but has rather a bad finish. The act, however, is all right in New York. 15 minutes in one. MHR 2 BOYS IN BLUE. This is a military act presented by the "Hoosier Zouaves," but elaborated such as the introduction of a gatling gun drill and some suggestions of military routine in camp together with a pretty tableau at the finish. It is really a very clever act. 16 minutes, full stage. YHR 2 JAMES THORNTON. Thornton was in prime condition and, as always in New York, had the audience with him constantly. I was rather looking for a new monologue, however, and he presented as near as I could remember the same one that he did here last. However, he is a strong New York favorite and whatever he does goes in this house. 18 minutes in one. GRR 2 POTTER & HARTWELL A man and a woman in an acrobatic and head balancing act in which they introduce several novelties which are really very attractive. 12 minutes, full stage. HR 3 BIOGRAPH.-- A good selection of views this week, the feature being the personal film which we ran last week. 20 minutes in one. S. K. HODGDON.
