182 GRAND OPERA HOUSE WEEK COMMENCING OCT. 10th, 04. PITTSBURG, PA. TRAVEL PICTURES- 15 minutes. LEIPSIG- Magic. 15 minutes in one. This act does very well in the three a day section. THE MCGINLEYS- 10 minutes, full stage-wood. This is one of the best three a day trapeze acts that we have played and it is going very well at eight o'clock. HINES & REMINGTON- 18 minutes in one. They are going fully as well with us as during their previous engagement. JULES & ELLA GARRISON-Travesty act- 16 minutes in one. This act is going very big with us, being one of the laughing hits of the bill. KATHERINE BLOODGOOD-Contralto-8 minutes in one. Miss Bloodgood is pleasing our patrons very much and we consider her above the average singing turn. EMMETT CORRIGAN & CO. In "Jockey Jones" 17 minutes. This act is going very big, especially the finish in which is shown a horse race by the use of mechanical horses. It is a very exciting finish and never fails to take several curtain calls. CHARLEY CASE-Monologue. 18 minutes in one. Mr. Case is going very big. We consider him one of the best entertainers in one that we have ever played. LAFAYETTE-40 minutes, full stage. In his "Ching Ling Foo"-magic and imitations of various band leaders. This is a very good act and it is surely going great with our patrons. Mr. Lafayette is compelled to take four and five encores at each performance. Our business this week is very big and we feel sure that this act is improving the business considerably. JOSEPHINE GASSMAN & PICKS. Considering the hard place this act has, following Lafayette, they are going very good. We consider this act as good as any of the kind we have played. ATHOS FAMILY-Acrobats and ball jugglers. 17 minutes, full stage, wood. This is a great act. We do not hesitate to say that it is one of the best that we have played. We are closing the show with it and it is going big. CARTER & BLUEFORD-15 minutes in one. Carrying their own drop. Singing and dancing. This act is far above the three show a day act and if it was not for the fact that we have a big show we would have them on the bill much later than we have them this week. We were forced to put them on at 7:45. They are going well. WALTER DANIELS-15 minutes in one. Imitations-3 shows. this act just gets away. I would not care to play him later than 1:30 and 7:30. KINETOGRAPH-Showing the Great Bank Robbery. This is a good picture. While on the order of the Great Train Robbery, I cannot say that I like it so well. J. P. Harris.
