216 REPORT Keith's Vaudeville - Maryland Theater- Week of Nov. 7th- 1904 Madame Olive - Female Juggler - This is a splendid opening act and one which makes a most pleasing appearance. The lady is very clever and dexterous. Mills & Morris- Blackface Minstrel Girls- Fairly good, the minstrel novelty being about all that saves it from being poor. It went tolerably well with audiences. Willy Zimmerman- This act I consider a bunco as the orchestra does the work and he gets the money. "As the Baltimore Evening Herald said in its criticism of the show "The characters he impersonates are in the main unknown to the people of this country save by name and therefore not appreciated. It was hard to tell whether he was leading the orchestra or the orchestra was leading him." Mr. & Mrs Crane - In the sketch "Am I Your Wife?". A splendid sketch well rendered and gave great satisfaction to our audiences being liberally applauded and highly appreciated. It is too good and the Cranes too well known to require more than a few words of highest praise. Melani Trio - The best singing act we have yet played. It makes a big hit with our people and is the character of classic feature which is doing much to elevate vaudeville. Bloom & Cooper - A good act which seems to please and gets lots of laughs but in parts a little coarse. Yorke & Adams - Well known here and always go well with our audiences. Harding & Ah Sid - Old timers but their act is good. Makes a splendid closing feature. Biograph - Very good pictures. Well selected and new. Summary - As a whole the show seems well balanced and pleases our audiences greatly.
