238 TEMPLE THEATRE, DETROIT, MICH., Week of Nov. 28th, 1904 FOUR MARVELLES: A grotesque contortion act. 3 men and one woman. This is one of the old time acts. It is only one of the best we have ever seen. However, I do not think that vaudeville audiences care for this style of act. 14 mins. F.S. Close in one. BELLE STONE: While encased in steel ball she rolls herself to the top of a spiral and back again. This is an excellent novelty set. It has been performed so many times in public that it ceases to be a novelty. 18 mins F.S. NEWELL & NIRLO: This man and woman perform on the violin saxaphone and xylophone. They dress the act nicely and play quite well. 16 mins. in one. 3 KEATONS. Joe, Myra & Buster. This act went much better this week than on the occasion of its last presentation here. Buster appears to be growing stronger all the time. The act was the laughing hit of the bill. 12 mins. F.S. 9 in one. BYRON DOUGLAS & CO.: Presenting "The Cowboy and the Herd". He was assisted by Mr. Frank Beamish and Henrietta Browne, two excellent players. While there is nothing startling in the sketch the presence of Mr. Douglas and Mr. Beamish drew quite a crowd to the Theatre as they are well known in Detroit. 24 mins. F.S. MARION GARSON: Vocalist. Miss Garson is about 17 years of age has excellent voice of high range and exceeding sweetness. She was not as happy in her selections of songs as her last appearance here. 7 mins. in one. FOY & CLARKE: In "Old Curiosity Shop". They have played this set several times and while it is nothing more than a lot of junk it seems to amuse the audience. 16 mins. F.S. HARRIGAN: Juggler and Monologist. He went very strong here. 17 mins. one. ELLA BRADHA: Equiestrienne act. SHe has two excellent horses and is dashing bareback rider quite superior to any of the equiestrienne acts played here. Was the hit of the bill. 9 mins. F.S.
