X 116 Part ed[illegible] This Patent Book K.2873 IN FILLING this Scrap Book NEVER gum in papers, etc., close to binding. Leave at LEAST ONE-QUARTER INCH from back of leaf. To get a better result after gumming the paper on picture on the leaves, STAND the book up on END, the leaves spread apart so that the air can flow through and dry. This will prevent MOULD, and the leaves will be less liable to wrinkle. PAT. MARC 22, 1892.
