8 New York Show,--Week of September 28th--2. GYH 2.--TIM CRONIN.--Eccentric comedian. His methods are, and always have been, rather crude, but he has a certain amount of good nature that enables him to win out and he really went very strong today, his finish of the quadrille making a great hit. 18 minutes in one. YNH 2.--CRESSY & DAYNE.-- In "Bill Biffin's Baby." As usual, the artistic hit of the bill. 25 minutes, full stage. YRR.--EDWARD BIXLEY.--This fellow appeared here a few months ago in an act called "The Edgar Bixley Trio" introducing himself, wife, and one other man. They made a tremendous hit and it was the impression of every one that working alone and with the proper material he would come pretty close to Nat Wills. while he went very nicely this afternoon, he was not quite as strong as I expected and hardly think that he has got his act shaped up eight. He introduces his wife in the turn now, and I think she is rather a detriment to the act. He has got a wonderful voice and if he can get the right kind of songs and work entirely along I think he is destined to make a big impression. I will look the act over again and decide whether it is strong enough to go over the circuit. 15 minutes in one. YYH 2.--STELLING & REVELLE.--2 men in an eccentric makeup doing a comedy bar act. They have been over the circuit before and I think it is about the best comedy bar team that we have ever played. 12 minutes, full stage. HR 3.--BIOGRAPH/--They have given us a very good selection of view this week of a miscellaneous character. 15 minutes in one. S. K. HODGDON.
