9- Chase's Empire, Cleveland, week of Sept. 28. Ollie Young & Brother. Hoope rollers. A very good opening act, notable for the absence of fumbling. Full stage. 10 minutes. Eddie Mack. In a clever dancing specialty. Excellent act for the money. 11 minutes in one. Will H. Sloane & Yolande Wallace. "The Plumber". A fair sketch with a slender plot that is not very well worked out. The woman is fine looking and dresses well. The man portrays a German character role which is funny in spots. The act pleased only fairly. Full stage. 23 minutes. Edith Helena. Her wonderful singing commanded all the attention of the audience, and she was the hit of the bill. In one. 12 minutes. Milton & Dolly Nobles. "A Blue Grass Widow". Three people. This excellent sketch was perfectly presented by these very capable people. Full stage. 35 minutes. Nichols Sisters. In their old black-face act with a few new songs. They are favorites here and went very well. 14 minutes in one. The Montrose Troupe. Austrian acrobats, five men and two boys. do ground and lofty tumbling, the feature of which is the shoulder to shoulder sommersaulting. They work fast and without mistakes, and held the audience to the finish. Full stage. 11 minutes. The Vitagraph. Views of "The Sleeping Beauty".
