18 2. Keith's New Theatre. Coakley & McBride-15 mins. in one-Two men, comedy singing and dancing act;dressed in golf suits. Pretty strong place at 3.45. Good dancers but will have to work hard to hold down their position. Bedini & Arthur-20 mins.-Gar. in 3-close in one-Two men,the juggler and his comedy assistant. Bedini has improved 100% in the past year, and now has an excellent act, full of life, ginger and comedy. Went well. Edwin Stevens-30 mins.-Fancy in 3-close in one-It would hardly be fair to criticise this man's work by the impression he made on this afternoon's audience at 4.45. He was heavily billed-and many waited to see him,but it was so late that many walked out during his act. He could never follow Gilbert in this house in a thousand years. Stevens is undoubtedly an artist--in his way--and he will draw money because of the advertising we gave him. However,he should never have been on the same bill with Gilbert. Stelling & Revelle-12 mins.-Landscape in 4- Two men, comedy horizontal bar performers;a good comedy act;works very fast, and is an excellent closing act. Biograph-15 mins. in one-"Fairyland," best film since the trip to the moon La Belle Dazie-12 mins.-Pal. in 4-Parisian toe dancer;billed as "the crazy toe dancer." In mannerisms and facial contortions she appears crazy. As a toe dancer, she is without a question of doubt the best that ever came across the pond. She was not booked here, but turned up this mroning for work. However,we are glad we put her on. La Bell Dazie more than made good, and in the right place would be a hit. Comment:-When rearranged the show will not be weak in a single spot. The three-a-day section is particularly strong, and evry act in the show is good. It will be the best we have had in weeks, and it is well,as we have "The Wizard of Oz" and "The Prince of Pilsen," with the Four Mortons heading a big vaudeville bill at the Grand,in opposition. H. A. DANIELS.
