Chase's Empire. Week of Oct. 5th. World's Trio. A man and two women in an unusually well dressed singing act which went well considering its position on the bill. 15 minutes. Full stage closing in one. Paulinetti & Piquo. Two men in a horizontal bar act. Paulinetti, working straight, displayed a number of feats of strength which enthused the audience. Piquo, as a clown, gives the act a funny finish with some fake work on the bar done with a wire. A very good act. Full stage. 11 minutes. Sisters Meredith. Another good singing act in which lack of voice was made up for by pleasing appearance. Their singing of "Hiawatha" with Indian costume and scenery went very well. Open in one, full stage, close in one. 12 minutes. Bert Howard & Leona Bland. In their old act "A Strange Boy". The audience could not get enough of Howard's piano playing. Full stage. 30 minutes. The Vitagraph. Pictures of "The Life of an American Fireman" which were frequently applauded. Mr. & Mrs. Perkins Fisher. Their old sketch "The Half Way House" went as well as ever. Full stage. 20 minutes. Joe Flynn. Nothing new, but the audience seemed to like it. In one. 15 minutes. The Fadettes. Women's Orchestra of twenty-one members. Too much praise could not be given this attraction. The audiences thoroughly enjoyed the orchestra's work, and was enthusiastic in its applause. Full stage. 35 minutes.
