CHASE'S THEATRE. WASHINGTON, D. C. Week of Oct. 5th. OLLIE YOUNG AND BRO. A very nice hoop rolling act which opens the bill most acceptably. Full stage closing in one. WILL J. SLOANE AND YOLANDE WALLACE. A comedy sketch entitled "The Plumber". Mr. Sloane takes the part of a German fairly well, but Miss Wallace is rather weak. On the whole it is but a fair act. Full stage. THE ALBANO TROUPE. About the only thing to commend this act is the fact that it is not expensive and embraces five people. Nothing startling about the music. Full stage closing in one. BEATRICE MORELAND. Society monologue. Very good comedy along quiet lines and her imitations were clever and humorous. All in one. THE WERNER-AMOROS TROUPE. Pantomimic comedians, jugglers, etc. A conglomoration of much that is nonsensical, and I hardly know whether to commend or not, but being so different from anything ever presented here, think it will be acceptable as a novelty. Full stage. INTERMISSION. THE ROBERT HILLIARD COMPANY Mr. Hilliard presents "No. 973" and it is a fitting successor to "The Littlest Girl". A notable offering by actors of more than ordinary ability. There are some remarkable situations cleverly led up to and it is deserving of the highest commendation. Full stage. THE NICHOLS SISTERS One of the best comedy numbers given for a long time and although frequently appearing here, their reception was greater than ever. All in one. BEAN AND HAMILTON. Acrobatic barrel jugglers worth all and more than the money we pay them. A Good act. Full stage. H. Winnifred De Witt.
