Holdin's Mannikins, 2 shows, 23 min. full stage--Went well, although I think we have them in too stiff a place in the bill, they will go stronger when it is rearranged. Received a fair share of applause, and created considerable laughter throughout. The transformation at the finish is quite effective and was liberally applauded Quigley Brothers, 2 shows, 16 min. in 1--Presenting their "Congressman at Large" talking specialty, which was received with roars of laughter, going much stronger than it did the last time they were here. Willis Family, 2 shows, 20 min. full stage--Musical specialties, the quartet playing well upon a number of instruments. The act is one of the best in its line that plays the varieties. George Thatcher, 2 shows, 17 min. in 1--Blackface comedian, one of the old-timers who has considerable individuality. He went well, but will stand switching with Quigley Brothers. Stelling and Ravelle, 2 shows, 8 min. full stage--One of the liveliest comedy bar acts we play, making a good finish for the show. Bioscope, 3 shows, 20 min. in 1--Capital lot of pictures including one of the Honourable Artillery Company of London parading at Providence, which is a clear and effective film. Smith and Bowman, 3 shows, 12 min. open full stage, close in 1--Average "coon" singing act, and weak imitation of Cole and Johnson. They had a stiff place, but made good. Comment:- Show has too much "sight" material in it and is a bit shy of comedy, but in the present congestion on the circuit this could not be avoided. It is a strong show, and should draw business. Bruno and Russell were not able to go on this afternoon owing to the fact that their trunks had gone astray and at the present writing I am not sure that they will be able to appear this evening. In any event, they will made good, as they did the last time they played here.
