TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICHIGAN. Week of October 12, 1903. LILLIAN KENWICK & H. A. DEVERE: Singing, talking and dancing. this is not a good act. They just got through and that is about all. 11 mins in one. FRANCIS GERARD: This man has a wonderful muscular development which he exploits in a cabinet after the style of Sandow, finishing with some feats of strength and equilibrism. Very good act of the kind. 11 mins F S GILLETT'S DOGS: One of the best dog acts in the business. 4 mins in 2 in a little pantomime and 14 mins. F. S. for leaping and playing bells etc. Going very strong here. SI STEBBINS: Tricks with cards. A very good act for the money. He seems to interest and please quite well in a rather difficult place. 14 mins. in one. FRANK KEENAN & CO. In "The Actor and the Count". Going very well here but not quite as strong as I expected. The act is somewhat too long drawn out and has a tendency to tire out the audience before the finish is reached. 29 mins. F. S. THE FADETTE'S WOMAN ORCHESTRA: This number is going stronger than last season and apparently playing better than before. 35 mins. F. S. EDDIE MACK: A very clever dancing act, making good in a very hard place. One of the best acts for the money I have played. 8 mins. in one. THREE RICHARDS: In an acrobatic act. This is a very fair act, nothing wonderful. 6 mins. F. S.
